Imogene's Last Stand is about a little girl named Imogene who loves history. She loves history so much she quotes famous people through out the book. She cleans up the town's historical society and then learns that it will be torn down to make room for a shoe factory. She makes many attempts to save her beloved society. Imogene is a character and the pictures are really nice. The kids loved the quotes and were impressed with how much history she knew.
